How to use the fishing rod in Stardew Valley
Using the fishing rod in Stardew Valley is pretty chill once you get the hang of it! First up, equip your fishing rod from your inventory. Find a nice spot near any body of water – a pond, river, lake, or even the ocean. Then, press and hold the action button to cast your line; the longer you hold, the further you cast. Wait for a bite – when you see an exclamation mark (!) pop up, quickly tap the action button again to hook the fish. Here comes the fun part – you'll enter a mini-game where you need to keep the fish inside a green bar by pressing or releasing the action button. Keep at it until you've successfully reeled in your fish!
