I've been playing Tekken 7 for ages, and to use weapons, you gotta equip the right custom items. They generally let you perform special weapon attacks during a fight. Check the customization menu and spend some of that Fight Money wisely!
In Tekken 7, weapons are usually part of a character's moveset or customization. Some characters have weapon moves in their standard moveset, like Yoshimitsu with his sword. Customization items you equip can also give you new weapon-based moves!
Just customize your character with items that grant weapon moves. You'll find these items in the customization menu using Fight Money. Easy peasy!
