Grubs in Stardew Valley are those pesky little critters you find in the mines, looking like tiny, wiggly worms. When you hit them enough, they turn into cocoons and eventually hatch into cave flies or moths if you don't take them out quickly. They're pretty much the farm's version of a surprise party nobody wanted.

Grubs? Oh, they're your not-so-friendly neighborhood mine dwellers. They start off wiggly, but give 'em a minute, and they'll pop into something that wants to fly into your face. Pro tip: don't hesitate to show them your sword dance moves ASAP.

Grubs are just bug larvae you bump into while mining. They morph into flying nuisances if you don't deal with them on sight. Fast action is your best friend here.
