What do the hearts mean in Stardew Valley?
Hearts in Stardew Valley are basically your friendship level indicator with the town's residents. The more hearts, the closer you are to them. Fill those hearts up by giving gifts, talking to them, and participating in their lives. Also, some events and story progressions only unlock at higher heart levels!
