It's simple - the shrine's for a progress check. Keep farming, making friends, and exploring, and see how you did when Grandpa's ghost returns!

At Grandpa's Shrine, ya gotta wait till the start of your third year in the game. Grandpa's ghost will show up to evaluate your farm based on a point system. Depending on how well you've done, you can earn up to 4 candles lit on the shrine. If you're not happy with your score, you can offer a Diamond to the shrine to get re-evaluated any time.

Just wait for the 3rd year, folks. Grandpa comes back, checks out how you've been doing, and bam, you get your rating. Light up some candles!

Honestly, Grandpa's shrine felt like a weird family reunion but with more ghosts and judgement. Got those candles lit though, felt pretty proud after. Worth the diamond for a redo if you mess up the first time.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
