Lelouch's death is super unexpected and kinda heartbreaking. He pretty much ensures world peace by making himself the ultimate enemy and then getting offed by Suzaku. Wild ending!

Lelouch gets killed by Suzaku, who is disguised as Zero in a dramatic twist. It鈥檚 all part of their plan called the Zero Requiem, meant to create a lasting peace by uniting the world against a common enemy.

Hot take: Lelouch鈥檚 death was the most fitting end. He had to pay for his sins somehow!
