Not killing Silas means the curse remains and anyone who was infected stays cursed. It's not the best outcome, to say the least.
Silas lives, curse continues, and your favorite characters might not have the happy ending you hoped for.
If you want the curse lifted and a chance for a happy ending, you gotta take Silas out. Simple as that.
Honestly, I didn't kill Silas and seriously regretted it... Let's just say the night wasn't in their favor and bad stuff went down.
