Stardew Valley is basically Harvest Moon 2.0, enhanced with dungeons and a bit of Minecraft vibe for the crafting and building aspects. If you loved Harvest Moon or any farm sim with a twist, Stardew Valley is your jam.

It's not just Harvest Moon. Stardew Valley draws on a variety of classic farming and life simulation games, but it goes much deeper. Think of it as Harvest Moon meets Animal Crossing, with a dash of Minecraft.

Stardew Valley is inspired by the classic farming simulation series Harvest Moon. The game's creator, Eric Barone, wanted to create a game that captured the essence of Harvest Moon but with his own twists and improvements, including more in-depth characters, crafting, and a more open-ended gameplay experience.
