Void Essence? Oh, it's essential, pun intended! It's what you get from beating the darker monsters in the mines, and you'll need it for crafting some of the cooler stuff in the game. Also, don't forget, the Wizard loves this stuff. So, if you're looking to be on his good side, hand a few over!
It's basically monster loot from the scary ones lurking below level 80. Useful but kinda gives me the creeps.
