In Stardew Valley, you wanna keep your chickens happy by feeding them Hay or letting them outside to eat fresh grass. If they stay inside, just place Hay in their feeding bench. Super easy to manage, and happy chickens mean more eggs!

Just let them out to peck on grass, it's free and they love it! Remember, only works if you've got grass outside.
