To hook a Shad in Stardew Valley, you gotta check your calendar and the weather app! Shads are available during Spring, Summer, and Fall, but they love the rain. So, grab your rod on a rainy day in these seasons, and you'll find Shad swimming between 9 AM and 2 AM. Happy fishing!

Caught my first Shad during a Spring thunderstorm, right off the bridge in town. It was epic! They're definitely out there when it's pouring, so make sure your fishing trip is a rainy day adventure. Works in Fall and Summer too.
