Actually, it opens pretty early in the game - the fifth of Spring. Perfect time to start collecting those ores and battling some slimes. And honestly, it adds so much more to the game, totally worth the wait.

Day 5 of Spring, first year! That's your cue to start swinging that pickaxe.

The mine in Stardew Valley opens up on the 5th day of Spring in your first year. So not long after you start your game, you'll get a letter that tells you it's open for exploring and battling monsters. Time to gear up!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
