Digging up soil is your best bet for finding clay in Stardew Valley. You just gotta get out there with your hoe and till away at those little worm tiles you see sticking out! Also, don't forget to check the mines; sometimes you can find clay when you break open the geodes that you give to the blacksmith.

Clay? Oh, it's basically everywhere but not always when you need it, right? I usually hit up those worm spots with my hoe or just till random spots on my farm or around town. Winter is a great time to go on a clay hunt since you're not as busy with crops.

You're overthinking it, mate! Just hoe hoe hoe! Worm tiles are a goldmine. Also, artifact spots can sometimes drop clay. Good luck!

If you're desperate, you can always buy 10 clay for 100g from Krobus in the sewer on Saturdays. It's not the cheapest way, but hey, if you need clay and you need it now, Krobus is your guy.
