Swamps are your best bet. You'll need the Swamp Key from defeating Elder boss to access the Sunken Crypts and get iron there.

You can find iron in the Swamps! Look for Muddy Scrap Piles in the Sunken Crypts, and make sure to bring a key from killing the Elder.
