Considering the manga, if Season 3 happens, it might cover the 'Illuminati Arc' where Rin and his friends face the Illuminati organization. Fingers crossed!
In my opinion, if we get Season 3, it'll probably continue right where Season 2 left off鈥攎ore action at True Cross Academy and beyond!
