Build on higher ground to avoid floods and get a good vantage point. Nothing worse than waking up to Greydwarfs in your bedroom!

Honestly, just plop it wherever you feel happiest. It doesn鈥檛 matter too much, and you can always rebuild if you find a better spot.

I always build near the Black Forest. You get a ton of resources like copper and tin, plus it's easier to defend with the natural obstacles around.

It鈥檚 smart to build near water for easy transport of resources by boat and access to fishing. Just don鈥檛 put it too close to the shore, or you might get surprise visitors!

We built our base in the Meadows for safety and then expanded to other biomes when we needed special resources. Start safe and grow from there!
