Where to Find Gold in Stardew Valley
Gold ore in Stardew Valley can be found deep inside the Mines starting around level 80. The deeper you go, the more likely you are to encounter gold veins. Also, keep an eye out for the mine carts on certain levels that can be full of coal and ores including gold!

Farming those Dust Sprites in the lower levels of the mines (40-79) is a good way to collect gold, as they drop it occasionally. Plus, you'll get coal too, so it's a win-win!
You can also pan for gold if you've got the copper pan. Rivers and streams after it rains are your best bet. It's a bit random, but hey, it adds some adventure to your gold hunt!
Luck wasn't on my side in the mines, so I played the long game with a Crystalarium and gold. It takes patience, but if mining's not your thing, it's a chill way to bank on gold.
Just buy it from Clint if you're in a rush and have extra cash. Sometimes, time is more valuable than gold (in-game and out).
