Just choose the mushroom cave for your farm cave, easy! You'll get red mushrooms along with other types regularly without having to hunt them down elsewhere.

Red mushrooms in Stardew Valley pop up in a few places, but your best bet is the Secret Woods and the Mines. The Secret Woods have them pretty regularly, especially around the big stumps. As for the Mines, you'll start spotting them frequently once you get past level 40. Another pro tip: if you choose the mushroom cave option for your farm's cave, you'll get red mushrooms there too!

Honestly, just hit up the Mines after level 40. I've found more red mushrooms there than anywhere else, and you get to mine some resources while you're at it!
