Where to Get Green Algae in Stardew Valley
Green algae is pretty easy to snag in Stardew Valley! You can find it by fishing in most freshwater areas like rivers, lakes, and even in the pond on your farm. Sometimes, it even pops up when you're trying to catch a fish but end up with this slimy surprise instead. Also, don't forget to check the mines. The deeper you go, especially between levels 20 and 40, the more likely you are to find water spots where you can fish up some green algae.

Fishing isn't your only shot at green algae. If you've got some patience (or just don't like fishing), you can also find it in garbage cans around town or get it as a gift from the Krobus's shop on Wednesdays. It's a bit random but hey, one person's trash is another's treasure, right?
Just fish, anywhere fresh water hits your line. Seriously, it's that simple.
While fishing is a common strategy, don't sleep on exploring the mines. It's like killing two slimes with one stone - you get your adventure and your green algae.
