You can find Purple Mushrooms in the Mines once you reach levels 81 and below. They're a rare find but keep an eye out while you're mining. Also, they occasionally pop up in the Secret Woods or can be grown in the Cave on your farm if you chose the mushroom option.

Hot take: Skip the mines, just upgrade your cave to mushrooms. Way easier and you get regular supplies without the hassle.

I got mine by foraging in the Secret Woods! Didn鈥檛 even have to fight a single slime. Plus, if you have the Mushroom Cave on your farm, you get them pretty often there.
