Squid in Stardew Valley can only be caught during the Winter, from 6 PM to 2 AM. You gotta cast your line in the Ocean. So bundle up, head to the beach after dark, and get ready for some night fishing!

Just hit up the ocean during winter nights. Squid are kinda like the vampires of the sea; they only come out in the dark.

I once spent five straight in-game nights fishing for squid because I thought they'd appear in summer. Wrong season! They're winter-exclusive. Trust me, wait for the snow, then go fishing at night. You'll find them.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
