Chicken curry is the traditional term most people would recognize. Just focus on the taste, not the terminology!
I've always used 'chicken curry' and no one has thrown a samosa at me yet. So, I'd stick with that.
In my experience, both are correct but 'chicken curry' is more popular. Your taste buds won't know the difference.
