In 'Civil War', Spider-Man put up a good fight but Captain America used his experience and tactical mind to edge him out.
Spider-Man once managed to web up Cap's shield and gain the upper hand, but Cap's tactical genius and experience generally keep the fights balanced. They both respect each other too much to go all out!
