Two Jins might be confusing, but it amps up the drama! Devil Jin is Jin Kazama's alter-ego when he succumbs to the Devil Gene.
It's basically a Jekyll and Hyde situation. Jin Kazama is the good guy, Devil Jin is his alter-ego when that Devil Gene takes over.
Why are there two Jins? Because why settle for one when you can have the classic hero and his devilish counterpart!
