Make sure you don't have any pending transactions or unresolved issues with your account. PayPal won't let you close your account if there's unfinished business!
Sometimes, it's just a matter of clearing out any remaining balance. Once the balance hits zero, you should be good to go!
First-hand experience here: I couldn't close mine because I still had subscriptions linked. Make sure to cancel those too!
