Games asking for permissions always seems fishy, but with Geometry Dash, it's nothing to worry about. It's just to save your progress and maybe push a few notifications your way. I've been playing for years and never had an issue!

Geometry Dash asks for phone permissions mainly for a couple of reasons. First, it's to ensure the game runs smoothly on your device without any hitches. These permissions can help the game save your progress locally on your device, so you don't lose your hard-earned progress. Another reason is to enable the game to send you notifications. This way, you stay updated on new levels, updates, or special events. It's all about enhancing your gaming experience!

Honestly, it's just for saving game progress and maybe for notifications. Nothing sketchy.

I don't think any game needs phone permissions. Just play without giving them if you can.

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
