Had the same issue! I just cleared the cache for Geometry Dash in my device settings, and it started working again. Also, make sure your device's OS is up to date.
Geometry Dash not opening? Just throw your device out the window. JK, don't! Most times it's just a simple issue like needing an update or a quick device restart. Works like a charm.
Delete it and forget it. Plenty of other games out there. But seriously, check your storage space; if your device is too full, games might not run properly.
