Your Spotify might pause on Discord because they both try to hog the audio spotlight like cats on a keyboard! Make sure Discord isn't set to prioritize the audio channel when you're in a voice chat.

Spotify likes to stop when Discord's voice activity feature kicks in. Go into Discord's settings and toggle 'Voice Activity' to 'Push to Talk' instead. Problem solved, and your music will flow smoothly.

Spotify pauses if it detects your mic in use or if another sound app is active. Try closing other audio apps!

Happens to me too! I had to toggle off 'Background App Refresh' for Spotify on my phone. That fixed it.

It's probably because Spotify pauses when it thinks you're playing music through another app. Try turning off the 'Pause on Lock' feature in Spotify settings!
