Why is Geometry Dash 2.2 taking so long?

The long wait for Geometry Dash 2.2 is mostly because the developers want to make sure it's perfect. They're likely adding tons of new levels, features, and possibly even new game modes that need a lot of testing to ensure they work well with the game's mechanics. Plus, creating those sick beats and tunes that we all love to jump and fly to probably takes a good chunk of time too!

I think they're just trying to build up the hype. The longer we wait, the more we talk about it, right?

Honestly, good things take time. I'd rather wait for a bomb update that adds loads of cool stuff and runs smoothly than get something rushed and buggy.

Development time isn't just about adding new things; it's also about polishing and bug fixing. Given how precise and timing-focused Geometry Dash is, even small glitches can ruin the experience. So, they're probably taking their sweet time to iron out all possible kinks to keep the rage-quitting to a minimum.

If you're a Geometry Dash player looking for extra stars or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Geometry Dash essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
