The ocean in Stardew Valley is green because of the game's artistic design choice. ConcernedApe, the game's creator, designed the world with vibrant and distinct colors to give it a unique, charming look. So, the green ocean isn't about realism, but rather making the game visually appealing and memorable.

I think the green ocean was a mistake. Every other game gets blue water right, why can't Stardew?

It's all about the aesthetic! Stardew Valley's got this pixel art style that's meant to be more about vibe than accuracy. The green ocean just fits with the game's overall look - makes it stand out and adds to the cozy, fantasy feel of your farming adventure.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
