Character rosters change every game. Eddie's absence in Tekken 8 might be just a way to introduce new fighters!
As a long-time Tekken player, I've seen characters rotate in and out of the roster. Eddie's absence isn't unusual; he'll likely make a return in future updates or installments.
It's a real bummer Eddie isn't in Tekken 8. Maybe the devs just wanted to freshen things up and give other characters some spotlight.
