Have you checked your internet connection? Sometimes Geometry Dash acts up if your connection is weak or unstable. Try switching to a different Wi-Fi or turn on/off airplane mode, might just do the trick!
It's probably your phone, not the game. Geometry Dash is solid.
Check for device updates too, not just game updates. An outdated OS can cause all kinds of apps to misbehave.
