Try verifying the integrity of the game files on Steam. Right-click Valheim in your library, go to Properties, then Local Files. Click 'Verify Integrity of Game Files'.

Dude, just restart your computer. It sounds too simple, but sometimes it works wonders!

Hot take: It's not Valheim, it's your computer. Time for an upgrade, maybe?

Ah, the classic 'game won't launch' conundrum! First, make sure your PC meets the system requirements. Sometimes it's the little things like outdated graphics drivers or missing updates!

Make sure Valheim isn't blocked by your firewall or antivirus. Check your settings and whitelist it if necessary. Happened to me once!

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
