Stardew Valley's creator, ConcernedApe, has not totally ruled out future updates, but there's been a shift in focus to working on new projects. So while minor updates or fixes might still come, don't hold your breath for anything major.

Absolutely, Stardew Valley is pretty much complete. ConcernedApe has moved on to other ventures, so any new updates would likely be small bug fixes or quality of life improvements, not big content drops.

As someone deeply invested in my farm and the townsfolk of Pelican Town, I keep hoping for more. But realistically, with the creator focusing on new projects, it seems Stardew is in its final form, barring minor tweaks or surprises.
